1.4. Controller: Refers to Lifekeeper, which determines the purpose and means of processing personal data.

1.5. Processor: Refers to any third-party entity that processes data on behalf of Lifekeeper.

2. Collection of Personal Data

2.1. User Registration Data: When users register as Keepers or avail of the Tanglaw, Tagapag-ingat, or Takipsilim packages, Lifekeeper collects personal data including but not limited to:

• Date of birth
• Username and password
• Profile photos

2.2. Memorialization Data: Users may provide additional personal data relating to their departed loved ones, which may include:

• Full name of the deceased
• Date of birth and date of passing
• Photos and videos
• Personal tributes and stories
• External links to videos (e.g., YouTube)

2.3. Payment Data: Lifekeeper collects and processes payment details, including but not limited to credit card information, billing addresses, and transaction history, to facilitate purchases of its services (e.g., Tanglaw, Tagapag-ingat, Takipsilim packages).

2.4. Browsing Data: Lifekeeper may collect certain information automatically through the use of cookies, including IP addresses, device information, browser types, and browsing history on the platform.

3. Use of Personal Data

3.1. Purpose of Collection: Lifekeeper collects personal data for the following purposes:

• To create user profiles and maintain personalized memorial pages
• To process transactions and facilitate payments
• To communicate with users regarding updates, services, and support
• To provide users with customized content and ensure seamless navigation across the platform
• To enable sharing of memorials via QR codes (i.e., “Talaala” or “Morning Star”) and facilitate access to public or private memorial pages (Open Legacy, Sacred Circle)

3.2. Communication and Marketing: With the user’s consent, Lifekeeper may use personal data to send marketing communications, newsletters, and updates about the platform. Users may opt out of such communications at any time.

3.3. Third-Party Services: Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers for the following purposes:
